Magical Magpies Wristband
Show them you’re a member of the Toon Army while paying homage to a memorable comeback at St. James Park.
MATCH STORY
While it’s been a minute since their side were considered one of the mightiest in England, Magpie supporters remained one the most fervent fanbases around. And as a result, that still makes every trip to the home of the Toon a difficult task for visiting sides. Take Arsenal’s visit to St. James Park in February of 2011. When the Gunners jumped out to a dream 4-0 start inside of a half an hour, all-seemed lost for the hosts. But the boisterous support of the Toon Army inspired their side to a magical comeback, with Joey Barton providing two penalties and a goal each from Leon Best and Cheick Tioté being enough to scrap a point against Wenger’s men.
DESIGN STORY
The match side of the wristband incorporates a subtle embossed pattern reminiscent of the translucent roof at St. James Park, while the reverse features the famous black and white stripes that have adorned every Magpie home shirt since 1894.
