Clinching Invincible Wristband
Show your love for the Gunners’ by wearing a design honoring the clinching of their greatest ever league title at their biggest rival.
MATCH STORY
Becoming the first English side to go undefeated in the top flight, 38-match season would probably be more than enough to celebrate on its own. But when the Gunners arrived at White Hart Lane in April of 2004, a chance to secure the trophy away to their biggest rivals would be the ultimate icing on the cake. And though the Lillywhites eventually battled back to draw the match in added time, a third-minute strike from captain Patrick Vierra and another from Robert Pires 10 minutes from half time were enough to lift the trophy in enemy territory — and protect their historic unbeaten run.
DESIGN STORY
The match side of the wristband not only mimics the Gunners’ famous red and white strip but also features hexagons inspired by the famous art deco design located above Highbury’s main entrance on Avenell Road. Meanwhile, the reverse replicates the club’s famous 1991/92 away kit in the club’s traditional yellow and navy alternate colors.
